What is the purpose of safety procedures during fires in ADA?

Safety procedures during fires in ADA are about protecting people and keeping weapons under control, even when the situation is dangerous. In an engagement, these rules create a clear, repeatable way to reduce risk: they help you keep injuries from happening to personnel and noncombatants, prevent accidental or negligent weapon discharges, and ensure weapons are handled safely and kept under positive control. That means things like protecting civilians, ensuring areas are clear before moving or firing, and maintaining proper communication and signals so everyone understands the status and actions being taken. This focus on reducing risk and preserving safety is what makes this option the best choice. It isn’t about pushing for more firepower or faster decisions; it’s about preventing harm and handling weapons safely, which is the core purpose of safety procedures in a firefight.
